Drive-In Fun

A couple of weekends ago Donnie and I went on a wonderful date night. We grabbed some delicious Burger Bar and headed to the Drive-In. We played the card game "WAR" and of course Donnie came back to win it.. Transformers was awesome!! I loved it but I think Donnie fell in love with it. He wouldn't stop geeking out about it. We had a good time joking around with each other. When we go on date nights it helps me to fall in love more and more with him.

TTFN :)

Popsicle's

We found out that Sassy Pup loves Popsicle's!

I LOVE her!!!

Green Thumb

This year we have been working on our garden. Donnie mostly takes care of it while I do the other yard work. We are growing tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce. I have been able to eat some of the lettuce and it was quite delicious. I can not wait to eat some tomatoes :)

Hopefully everything turns out!!! :)

This is a SANDY train...

Last week we went down to watch a Bee's Game! It was was such a blast. It was my brother-in-law Scott's birthday and he has an internship down there so he was able to get us free tickets. Donnie and I thought it would be fun to take the frontrunner down and then take the trax to the stadium :)

While we were on the trax I couldn't help but laugh everytime it said,"This is a Sandy train". I don't know why I find it so funny but I couldn't get control of myself hence the title of this post. We saw many interesting people as we rode the trax. My favorite person that we saw was lying in some weeds and taking a nap.. It was qutie interesting. I decided that I am not a Salt Lake kind of gal. I could never live down there but I do like to visit every now and again. We made it to the stadium and my dad was waiting with our tickets.. He is the best dad. Just had to throw that in there. Steph and my mom were already in the stadium. We saw Scotty for a second before he left to drive the train for the kids :)

I really enjoyed myself and the nice weather. It wasn't to warm because it was overcast and it was sprinkling off and on. The Bee's didn't really play there best but it was fun to watch them. I had fun talking with my sister Steph and my mom. I must not forget to mention that Donnie had a blast too. He was so excited to eat his coney dog. I couldn't believe how big that thing was. It was huge here is a picture to prove it..

In the end the Bee's lost by a lot but that doesn't matter much because we had such a great time as a family down there. When we were leaving the stadium we were taking pictures and this one is my favorite.

We rode home with Scott and Steph because we weren't sure if we would make the train or not. Well Donnie and Scott decided that they weren't done hanging out and so we went to their house even though it was about 10:30 and I was exhausted and Steph was exhausted.. The boys played a video game of some sort while Steph iced her feet and then we went and took care of a cat she watches sometimes. I was so glad when I got home that night. I think I fell asleep right when I sat down. Overall this was splendid night and I am so glad Steph and Scott invited us. :)
Here are a few pics from that night that I love :)

Camping Fun

This last weekend we went camping with the Howell family. It was quite the group of peope! We got up there Saturday night and mostly just got our tent together and ate the most delicious apple crisp.. We decided to take our little Sassy with us because she loves being in the outdoors and my oh my she had a grand old time. On Sunday Donnie and I went for a hike with Morgan and Lyndy. It was a butt kicking hike. It was a steep climb but when we got to the top it was such a beautiful sight. We could look down and see Tibble Fork Reservoir which kind of looked like chocolate milk. Then to the side of us was a beautiful mountain with snow still covering it. Sassy pretty much loved crossing the river and running up the side of the mountain.

Morgan and Lyndy :)

My Cute Little Family :)

Later that afternoon we went up to Silver Lake. It is quite the scary drive trying to get up there but well worth it.

We played in the freezing water and soaked in the sun. My father-in-law would catch some fish and the kids all wanted to touch it! Rylen was so excited she poked the
fish and it jumped.

Sassy Dog and Papa!

Sassy! Loving the water!

We had such a fun time up there and we are so glad that we went. One of the best things was Grandpa Howell's cooking! He made some delicious french toast!

One of my favorite pics! :)

Headed Camping

In just a few hours I will be headed camping to the Granite Flats. I had never heard of them until Donnie's parents told us that is where we would be spending the weekend. His entire family is down there and we are going to join them when he gets off work. I hope he gets off soon because I am ready to get away even if it is only for a day. I will try and take lots of pic's. Hope you all have a safe and happy 4th!! TTFN!
